Spiced honeycrisp apple cider mingle with notes of caramel, pumpkin and damp cedarwood. Buffalo is our fresh take on a classic autumn candle.

To me the combined scents of this candle paint a perfectly beautiful fall scene. I imagine myself sitting on the back deck of a log cabin sipping a piping hot apple cider, wrapped in my favorite wool blanket, watching the sun rise through the already thinning trees. It's crazy early (hence this is not real life, haha) and dew still covers the ground. I can see my breath, but the chilly air is cleansing and the hot cider and warm blanket give me all the comfort I need. I'm not going anywhere for a while...

To be honest, I wasn't planning on making a fall candle. Although I love this time of year, I felt like all fall candles always smell overbearing and heavy. No thanks, not my thing. Then I realized that's exactly why I should make an autumn candle - so I'd have one I actually like! I hope you enjoy my fresh take on a fall season classic.

'Buffalo' plaid dates back to the early 1800s and is made of two colored yarns (typically red and black), woven in strips, to create large intersecting blocks. Although the pattern originated in Scotland (it is a plaid after all), it gained popularity in America throughout the 19th and 20th centuries for it's use in Woolrich wool blankets. We thought this pattern was the perfect compliment to our cinnamon, pumpkin and apple scented fall candle. Cozy vibes forever!
